Privacy
What we record, and why
Short version: we log page views so we know the diagnostic is being used, we keep the answers and score of every completed diagnostic so we can sharpen the questions, and at the end we email you your assessment. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no list.
Page views
Every page records the path you opened, the referring address if your browser sent one, the country Cloudflare reports for the connection, your browser's user-agent string, and a random identifier generated in your own browser so that a visit and a later submission can be connected. We do not store your IP address, and the identifier is not derived from anything about you or your device — clearing your browser storage discards it.
Completed diagnostics
When you complete the last step we record your answers, your overall score and band, your stated objective and financial metric, the country of the connection, and the contact details below. If you would rather not be recorded at all, stop before that step — nothing is kept from the questions until you submit.
What you tell us at the end
The last step asks for your name and email address, and optionally a phone number. Your name and email are needed to complete the diagnostic and see your results, and the email address is where your assessment is sent. The phone number is optional — leave it blank and nothing changes. All of it is kept with that submission so we can recognise you and reply if you get in touch. None of it is added to a mailing list, shared, or sold. Delivery of the assessment goes through Resend, which processes the message on our behalf.
Where it lives, and for how long
Everything is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in our own Cloudflare account. Cloudflare hosts the site and so also processes the connection itself. We keep records for 24 months, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do so. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the diagnostic; for the email itself, it is your request for it.

What we do not do
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no cookies for profiling, no cross-site identifiers. The only browser storage the site uses is your own answers, kept so a refresh mid-diagnostic does not lose them, and the random identifier above.
